Nanny - PS451
Role & Responsibilities
We’re currently looking for a Live-In Nanny, best described as a “big sister” role, for a family relocating from Europe to London. A warm and welcoming family is relocating to West London and is looking for someone special to support their daughter through this exciting but significant life change. Moving to a new country, starting a new school, and building a new life can be challenging, and the family are looking for someone who can provide stability, encouragement, and companionship throughout the transition.
This isn’t a traditional nanny position. The family are searching for someone who can become a trusted mentor and positive role model; someone their daughter can laugh with, confide in, and rely on as she settles into her new surroundings. The right candidate will help build her confidence, encourage new friendships, and make London feel like home.
The role focuses on supporting their 12-year-old daughter, helping her establish a routine, settle into school, and enjoy everything London has to offer. This is a role centred around companionship, guidance, and encouraging independence, rather than hands-on childcare. Think school runs, homework support, trips to sports clubs, shopping, cafés, hair appointments, and helping her explore new hobbies and make friends. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships with older children and wants to have a real impact during an important stage of their life.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 8:00pm, with a break during the day while she is at school, offering a great work-life balance throughout the week.
We are looking for an experienced nanny with proven longevity in previous roles and experience supporting children aged 10 to 14 years old. German language skills would be a significant advantage and are highly preferred, although exceptional English-speaking candidates will also be considered. This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys mentoring older children, encouraging their independence, and becoming a positive influence in their daily life, rather than providing traditional childcare for younger children.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the morning routine and preparing for school.
- School drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Taking her to after-school clubs, activities, and social commitments.
- Assisting with homework and encouraging independence.
- Preparing healthy evening meals and snacks.
- Grocery shopping and light household errands.
- Light housekeeping and maintaining tidy communal areas.
- Encouraging a healthy routine with limited screen time.
- Providing companionship, guidance, and emotional support as she settles into life in London.

- Experience supporting a child through relocation, transition, or a big life change would be a huge advantage.
- German-speaking preferred.
- Able to provide a structured, consistent routine.
- Reliable, discreet.
- Strong communicator with the parents.
- Flexibility required.
- Comfortable and confident taking sole charge independently.

Household/Domestic Couples - PS444
Role & Responsibilities
A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Live-in Couple to become the long-term custodians of a beautiful private family holiday home on the North Norfolk coast.
The principals are looking for a warm, practical and trustworthy couple who genuinely enjoy looking after people, take pride in maintaining a beautiful home and are seeking a role where they can settle for many years. This is very much a lifestyle position, offering autonomy, variety and the chance to become an important part of both the estate and the local community.
The property is the family's second home and is occupied for approximately 8–10 weeks each year, predominantly during school holidays, Christmas and other key periods. Whilst the house is quieter for much of the year, this is by no means a quiet role. The periods between family visits are invaluable in ensuring the estate is maintained to an exceptional standard. Time is spent carrying out deep housekeeping, detailed cleaning of kitchens, pantries, utility rooms and storage areas, organising and rotating cupboards, maintaining household inventories, ordering and replenishing supplies, caring for linens, preparing guest accommodation, coordinating servicing schedules and ensuring every room is beautifully presented and immediately ready for the family's arrival.
When the family are in residence, the pace changes considerably. Friends and extended family regularly visit, creating a warm and lively household. The couple will work together to ensure everything runs seamlessly, from preparing the house and welcoming guests to delivering relaxed but attentive service, assisting with entertaining and creating a home where family and guests immediately feel comfortable. During particularly busy periods, including Christmas and other holidays, additional housekeepers from the family's London residence will provide support.
One partner will take the lead on the practical management of the estate, working alongside an established team of gardeners, trusted local contractors and marine specialists to ensure the property, grounds, swimming pool, boats and two nearby rental properties are maintained to an exceptional standard. A practical approach is essential, with the ability to undertake preventative maintenance, repairs, and confidently coordinate specialist contractors where required. The other partner will primarily oversee the interiors of the house, ensuring every room is immaculate throughout the year whilst preparing wholesome, nutritious family meals and confidently catering for informal dinners and entertaining for up to twelve guests. This role includes detailed housekeeping, laundry and linen care, seasonal deep cleaning, organisation of cupboards and stores, inventory management, stock rotation, provisioning and ensuring the home is always fully equipped and guest ready.
This is a genuine team role, and both individuals will be expected to support one another whenever required. Whether assisting with housekeeping, setting up for family arrivals, carrying out shuttle runs, helping with the dogs, liaising with contractors or responding to the unexpected, flexibility and teamwork are essential. Both individuals should have an exceptional eye for detail and take enormous pride in the presentation of both the home and the wider estate. Most importantly, the successful couple will become trusted representatives of the family within the local villages and wider North Norfolk community. They will build positive relationships with neighbours, local businesses, contractors and suppliers whilst helping preserve the family's excellent reputation. The family enjoy working with positive, down-to-earth people with a good sense of humour who genuinely enjoy looking after others and creating a welcoming environment.
Package
Combined salary of circa £88,000 per annum gross, depending on experience, could be (neg).
Beautiful self-contained two-bedroom cottage attached to the main residence, comprising two bedrooms, a sitting room and a private terrace.

Private Health Cover.
Discretionary Christmas bonus.
Long-term permanent position with a highly respected private family.
Support from an established team of gardeners, together with additional London household staff during peak occupancy periods.
Flexible start date from September 2026.
Ideal Candidate Criteria
This opportunity would suit an experienced, practical couple who are looking for far more than simply their next position. The family are seeking two people who are looking to build a long-term future on the estate and become trusted custodians of a very special home.
Both individuals should be proactive, organised and naturally hands-on, taking pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards without the need for close supervision. They should enjoy working together, be adaptable to changing priorities and understand that no two days are ever quite the same.
One partner should be a confident home cook with a passion for producing wholesome, fresh family meals and relaxed entertaining, whilst the other should possess strong practical skills, including preventative maintenance, contractor management and general property upkeep. Previous experience with boats would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
Both individuals should have excellent housekeeping skills and exceptional attention to detail. Experience in maintaining luxury homes, organising household inventories, carrying out deep seasonal cleaning, managing household stock and ensuring a property remains permanently guest-ready will be highly valued. You must be prepared for trips to other properties to collect things or deliver anything required.
The family have dogs, therefore a genuine love of animals is essential. The successful couple should be happy assisting with dog care, occasional dog sitting and supporting the wider needs of the household whenever required. They would accept a well-behaved dog.
Previous experience within a private household is welcomed but not essential. We would equally encourage applications from couples with backgrounds in boutique hospitality, luxury holiday homes, estate management, country inns, guest houses, yachting or similar service-led environments where high standards, discretion and adaptability have been central to their roles.
Above all, this is a position built on trust, discretion and longevity. Outstanding, fully verifiable employment references are essential, and applicants must demonstrate a stable employment history with a genuine desire to commit to a long-term role.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
Due to the nature of the position, the successful couple will be required to successfully complete Enhanced DBS checks, comprehensive referencing, right-to-work verification and background screening before employment can commence.
